In partnership with 3D Event Designer, the County of Orange is launching the Back2Business Initiative: Outdoor Edition, an expansion of the original Back2Business Initiative program, to help local small businesses impacted by COVID-19 safely reopen by meeting local, state and federal social distancing guidelines.

Effective immediately, the City of Garden Grove will extend the suspension of water shut-offs for non-payments and late fee charges until further notice.
The City is expanding its assistance to local businesses by waiving all fees to restaurants applying for temporary outdoor dining permits, with plans to also offer no-fee temporary outdoor permits to other business sectors when allowed by state health and safety guidelines.
New Action Includes Expanding Statewide Closure of Bars, Breweries and Pubs and of Indoor Operations in Restaurants, Wineries, Movie Theaters
Effective July 2, 2020, all bars are ordered closed in Orange County, California due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases.
As of July 1, the City will begin issuing normal late fees on water payments. Payments for delinquent accounts before June 30 will be accepted without penalty if paid by July 15.
Local businesses impacted by COVID-19 are invited to join an informational, multi-language ZOOM webinar, to apply for Garden Grove's small business resources and grants programs.
The types of businesses that will be able to resume operations include nail salons, facials, waxing, tattoo parlors, piercing shops, and massage therapy.
California Department of Public Health Release Guidance Requiring Californians to Wear Face Coverings in Most Settings Outside the Home
In Stage 2, the County of Orange will be allowed to have the following businesses re-open with adaptations: In-person dining reservations; retail shopping with social distancing and curbside pickup; manufacturing; offices (when telework not possible); outdoor museums; and limited services.
Restaurants can now apply to the City for 60-day outdoor dining permits to expand dining areas onto adjacent sidewalks within a shopping center or in privately-owned parking lots.
